Sports carmaker Aston Martin has chosen the Geneva motor show to revive its luxury Lagonda brand.
The Lagonda Concept SUV gives us the first look of some of the models to expect from the 100 year old brand.
Describing the large Lagonda as 'the luxury car of the future', the luxurious 4-seater could be the template for future models with its luxury 4x4 format.
Under the skin of the huge imposing V12-powered SUV is a modified Mercedes-Benz GL 4x4 platform - marking the fruition of a technological partnership between Aston and the German firm.
In the future the Lagonda brand is expected to offer both petrol electric hybrid powertrains and, possibly, even a diesel.
It could be up to three years before we see the first production model.
