Fiat 500 PUR-O2
Fiat is showing the 500 PUR-O2, created to be the most fuel-efficient model in the 500 range, at the Paris Motor Show.
The 500 PUR-O2 comes with stop-start technology developed by Bosch. The system cuts the engine when idling and automatically restarts it again when required.
This technology works alongside measures including low rolling-resistance tyres, low-viscosity fluids, modified gearboxes and enhanced aerodynamics to reduce both fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions.
The 500 PUR-O2 features Fiat's 1.2-litre petrol engine and Dualogic auto gearbox. PUR-02 versions of the Bravo and Croma will also be offered.
Fiat is also launching a version of the Bravo with the new 165bhp 2.0-litre Multijet diesel engine and Sport trim, updated Grande Punto superminis, and a new low-emissions Panda Eco, which emits just 119g/km of carbon dioxide.
