Mazda Kiyora
Mazda will reveal a new concept car called Kiyora, plus a facelifted MX-5 at the Paris Motor Show in October.
The Kiyora is a new city car with bold, futuristic styling and, like most new concepts, boasts environmentally friendly credentials.
It will be equipped with Mazda's next-generation four cylinder direct injection engine and features stop/start technology. Mazda says the car will achieve excellent fuel economy and low carbon dioxide emissions thanks to the highly efficient powertrain and the sleek aerodynamic design.
It is based on an all-new platform designed to maximise weight reduction and a high level of safety. The interior includes an array of new gadgets and gizmos designed to appeal to the younger generation of drivers.
The new Mazda MX-5 will also make its world debut, together with the Mazda 6 equipped with Mazda's newly developed MZR-CD 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine, and the Mazda 2 powered by a MZ-CD 1.6 litre diesel.
