Video: Nice at the British Motor Show
Not impressed by the cheapo-looking Chinese-built EVs and tiny two-seaters? How about an electric version of the coolest city car on the market?
Nice (No Internal Combustion Engine) is showing its own Ze-O and MyCar, plus the French Mega City, at the British Motor Show - but the e500 is far and away its most attractive proposition.
Built to order in Italy by a firm called Micro-Vett it has all the attributes, refinement and crash safety of the standard 500, but none of the emissions. It'll do up to 60mph and has a range of up to 75 miles. Prices haven't yet been announced, but the e500 is available to order now.
Nice is also importing a number of other Micro-Vett-converted vehicles. These include an electric Fiat Doblo Cargo, Scudo, Ducato and Fiorino, plus French micro-vehicles such as the Mega City and Mega Multi Truck. It can also do you an electric van of up to 3.5 tonnes, with a 95-mile range.
