Video: Seat Ibiza SportCoupe
Seat is showing its three-door new Ibiza, called SportCoupe at the British Motor Show.
The SportCoupe will follow the five-door on sale later this summer in mainland Europe, with right-hand-drive versions arriving in the UK in early 2009.
Engines for the SportCoupe are the same 70bhp 1.2 three-cylinder, 85bhp 1.4 and 102bhp 1.6 petrol units as in the Ibiza five-door, plus 80bhp 1.4 and 90bhp 1.9-litre TDI diesels. The 1.6 petrol engine is offered with the new seven-speed DSG sequential-shift gearbox.
Low-emissions and fuel-efficient Ecomotion versions will follow, as well as sported-up FR and Cupra models.
