Mitsubishi Racing Lancer
Mitsubishi is to show the race-ready Racing Lancer crossover at the Paris Motor Show this autumn, previewing its contender in next year's Dakar Rally (which will actually take place in South America).
The successor to the Pajero Evolution, the Racing Lancer is based on the Lancer Sportback hatchback and will feature Mitsubishi's new Euro 5-compliant 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine. It meets the FIA group T1 regulations for cross-country rally cars and rules to come into force in 2010.
