Chery V2
A strong contender for world's ugliest car has emerged in China. The Chery V2 is a new eight-seat people carrier, but it'll surely become more famous for its cartoonish features.
Strongly resembling a disappointed extra in recent auto-themed animation Cars, the new people carrier will also suffer from its sole engine, a 1.3-litre petrol.
The V2 will join the Chery line-up after being unveiled at the upcoming Beijing Motor Show. Alongside the seemingly pre-crashed V2, Chery will also show a new crossover SUV and a hybrid petrol/electric saloon.
Chery won fame as the first Chinese manufacturer to export abroad, when it sold to Syria in 2001. However it also was sued by GM for copying the Daewoo Matiz for one for its most successful designs, the QQ supermini.
