Vauxhall/Opel is boasting that 73,600 orders have already been placed for the new-generation Corsa supermini in Europe - and now a van version's on the way.
The Corsavan is described as a concept, 'showing how the three-door car's looks would transfer to a city van', but it does indicate the blacked-out side panels, lined load bay and half-height bulkhead its production equivalent will receive.
The show car in Paris is finished off with the VXR body styling kit, to be offered as an option, red front brake callipers, 17" alloy wheels, black leather sports seats and piano-black interior trim, plus glossy red paint. It is fitted with the 1.3-litre CDTi diesel engine (90bhp) and a six-speed manual gearbox.
