Maybach 57
Mercedes-Benz's Maybach division is to show a production version of the 57S concept seen at the Geneva Motor Show last spring. The 57S features an AMG-developed 6.0-litre V12 engine instead of the standard 5.5 V12, a mere 543bhp; the enlarged unit will produce 612bhp. This super-saloon will also gain revised suspension, different radiator and light designs, new 20-inch wheels and a monochrome paint finish instead of the standard Maybach's stately two-tone exterior. It will go on sale in spring 2006.
