Sebastien Loeb signs the replica
Citroen is auctioning a replica of its Xsara WRC car on ebaymotors.co.uk to raise money for the Great Ormond Street children's hospital. The car, modified by Citroen specialists Cituning, is based on a 2002 Xsara VTS coupe, and has done 5,500 miles. It has received a modified cylinder head, fast road camshafts, new air filter and re-mapped engine management, plus a 'wide body' conversion with rear spoiler, upper tailgate spoiler and headlamp 'eyebrows'. The cabin features Evolution Cobra seats, a carbon-look dash, new trim, a rally steering wheel and gear lever plus four-point harnesses. Further mods - to a total value of £8000 - include uprated brakes, flared wheel arches, Michelin tyres on white alloys, sump guard and rally mud flaps. The car also has a special numberplate: X100 WRC, and it has been signed by Citroen rally driver Sebastien Loeb. The auction ends on the 21st December.
