Citroen is producing 2000 special edition Ministry of Sound C2s in conjunction with the London-based nightclub/events firm/record label/lifestyle brand. These will come with either the 110bhp 1.6i 16v petrol engine and the Sensodrive clutchless gearbox (VTR) or the 75bhp 1.4i and manual 'box (Furio), and have a Sony Xplod MP3/CD player, upgraded 200W head unit and six improved speakers. The speakers, door sills and CD holder will sport the Ministry of Sound's logo, which will also appear on a badge at the back. Standard equipment also includes fog lamps, electric front windows and door mirrors, remote central locking with deadlocks, four airbags, body-coloured bumpers, side skirts and rear spoiler, a chrome exhaust tailpipe and ABS anti-lock brakes; VTR models add an alarm and 16-inch alloy wheels. Prices start from £9,495 (Furio) and £11,295 (VTR), and both versions are offered with a year's free insurance (drivers aged 21-80) until the end of June.
