Sensory assistance : New equipment will include wet-weather brake disc wiping; wheel-selective cornering brake control; stability control that is sensitive to crosswinds, tyre wear and road camber; and more driver assistance devices such as driver fatigue sensors, lane-departure warning and traffic sign identification. However, SBC (electronic brake-by-wire) has been canned, having not proved popular. Options will include carbon-ceramic brake discs (standard in the E63 AMG).
