Power boost : The C-Class will be more powerful than before, with 2.5 and 3.5-litre petrol V6s (210bhp and 270bhp), a 3.0-litre diesel to take on BMW's 330d, and lively entry-level models with the direct-injection four-cylinder 1.8 (150bhp and 190bhp). And of course, there'll be an AMG range-topper, which is said to have a 400-410bhp 5.4-litre V8.
