First of the family : The new Ypsilon will not be a straightforward sister model to the Alfa Romeo Mito, as originally rumoured, but the first of a new 'family' of cars based on a new platform. This is an extended version of the Fiat 500's structure, which will also form the basis of the next-generation Panda and Grande Punto.
