B-platform variant : This car is a version of the US-market Versa, itself developed from the shorter-wheelbase Tiida sold in the Japan. Both Versa and Tiida are based on the so-called 'long B' platform, a lengthened version of the structure which underpins cars including the Micra, Note, Renault Clio and Renault Modus.
