Rover returns : It could share its underpinnings with the upcoming Roewe 550 - itself built on a shortened version of the Rover 75 underpinnings. Engines for the range are expected to include 100bhp and 150bhp engines developed from the old Rover K-Series (SAIC owns the former Rover Powertrain factory, relocated to China, and blueprints to the engines' designs).
