The Aygo - pronounced i-go - is the smallest Toyota yet to be launched in Europe. Competing in the A-segment along with cars such as the Kia Picanto and Fiat Panda, the Aygo is the result of Toyota's joint venture with Citroen and Peugeot, who will launch virtually identical models called the C1 and 107 later in the year.
A leading question in Aygo press pack asks "Aren't cars just another anchor to weigh you down along with all the other burdens of age and conventionality, a kind of four-wheeled form of cellulite or receding hair?" Lord, where do they get this stuff?
