Nissan's likeable X-Trail was first introduced in 2001, so the mid-life facelifted model you see here didn't take long to come around.
Like, chill dude : Sensibly, 2004 X-Trail cupholders are no longer in the centre console, where spillages can drip down over the controls. They've been moved out to the edge of the cabin, where they're also usefully deep and hold cans with no problem. And there's another benefit too: because they're right next to the air vents, it has been easy to make a little sluice-gate-style opening into the ventilation tubes, so that the cupholders can be chilled or heated by the climate control. More handy in summer.
