Nissan's likeable X-Trail was first introduced in 2001, so the mid-life facelifted model you see here didn't take long to come around.
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes : No metalwork was changed for the '04 X-Trail because that's rather expensive, so cosmetic alterations are limited to changing the plastic bits. Hence re-styled bumpers with a mesh-grille insert, which are also a bit shorter than before, reducing the X-Trail's overall length by 50mm.
