Citroen's C2 is the replacement for the Saxo at the bottom end of the French car manufacturer's range. Based on the same platform as the slightly larger C3 and C3 Pluriel, the C2 is only available as a three-door model because the C3 covers five-door territory.
C2 : The C2, like its sister model the C3, is built at Citroen's Aulnay plant on the outskirts of Paris. As well as one production line exclusively for C2 models, a C3 production line has been modified so that it can make C2s or C3s. The two cars share around 60 percent of their components and, in a full year, C2 production is planned to be around 190,000 cars.
