Engines on offer are a 1.2 8v (65bhp) and 1.4 8v (77bhp) petrol units, the new 1.3 Multijet diesels (75bhp and 90bhp) and 120bhp and 130bhp versions of the 1.9 Multijet diesel. All the diesel engines have a particulate filter, and meet the Euro IV emissions standards. Hotter Sporting, with a 16-valve, turbocharged 1.4, and proper hot-hatch Abarth versions are on the way later. The Abarth is expected to develop up to 220bhp, and to be available in both petrol and diesel form.
