Chevrolet Volt : New version of the concept first seen in Detroit; it's now got a hydrogen fuel cell in place of an electrical system with auxiliary engine. It runs on hydrogen gas, which the fuel cell converts to electrical energy, and has a range of up to 300 miles, thanks to a plug-in facility to boost battery power.
