The most famous James Bond car, its appearances in Goldfinger and Thunderball stirring more fantasies than Bond girl Ursula Andress in that bikini. Technically, this 1963-65 model was not much of an advance on the earlier DB4 bar the rise in engine size to four litres and the addition of a new five-speed gearbox. Good for 148mph and 0-60mph in 8.1 seconds, it may not have been the fastest 60s sports car, but it was certainly one of the most stylish. Still is, even without Sean Connery at the wheel, Silver Birch paint and special agent gadgets.
