49 TVR Tuscan (page 24 of 25)
|
One of the biggest beasts from Blackpool, and one of TVR's most successful products in its run from 2000 to 2006. The two-seater Tuscan - targa-topped or convertible - came with power outputs from 360bhp to 400bhp from its 3.6- or 4.0-litre Speed Six engine and looked dramatic even at a standstill. On the move, making a phenomenal noise through its superbike-style exhausts, it was just incredible, and utterly unique, with all its interior produced in-house, right down to the smallest knobs and switches. Sure, the Sagaris was faster, but it wouldn't have happened without the Tuscan, which also spawned the T400R race car, a finisher at Le Mans in 2004.
