42 Noble M400 (page 17 of 25)

Plenty of engineers reckon they can build their own supercar - but sometime racer Lee Noble, formerly of Ultima and Ascari, succeeded in creating a car that stands comparison with Italy and Germany's finest. And they keep getting better; the 425bhp M400 is just phenomenal. Developed in Leicestershire, assembled in South Africa and finished off in the UK again, it costs a relatively modest £56,000 and features a Roush-tuned Ford 3.0 V6 and twin superchargers fitted into a super-rigid spaceframe chassis with superb suspension. The new M15 comes later this year, after some delays, and we can't wait to drive it.
