The Alfa GT (surely the shortest Alfa Romeo model name in history), is a proper four-seater and can even swallow five at a squeeze. It is also a hatchback with foldable rear seats, and that fact alone gives it an advantage over the BMW 3-Series Coupe that is its head-on rival.
Choose your skin : There's quite a range of seat and trim-panel coverings on offer. Alfatex is a breathable, slightly Alcantara-like cloth, or you can have leather with or without perforations. That leather can have contrasting stitching, and can be matched to plain black or lighter two-tone dashboard colourways. Oddly, there are no trim levels for the GT in the UK, just chose an engine and then add whichever options you please.
