The Alfa GT (surely the shortest Alfa Romeo model name in history), is a proper four-seater and can even swallow five at a squeeze. It is also a hatchback with foldable rear seats, and that fact alone gives it an advantage over the BMW 3-Series Coupe that is its head-on rival.
Suspension sorted : The front suspension, as in 156s and 147s, has a broad steel lower wishbone and a smaller, aluminium, backward-angled upper one. The geometry is pure and precise, but ride quality has so far not been great. New upper bushes, and similar revisions for the arms that locate the rear struts, have worked wonders.
