| Engine:: The V8 diesel Discovery, Range Rover and Range Rover Sport are thought to be scheduled for spring 2006. Further down the line, into 2008, a new 3.0-litre V6 diesel will replace the 2.7: Ford is also said to be working on a 4.4-litre V8 for use in US-market pick-ups. Also rumoured is a hybrid petrol-electric Range Rover, for 2009, to appeal to Americans who just won't consider a diesel option. |
