| Spy Shot: Peugeot 1007 |
| Due to be officially launched at the Paris Motor Show in September, Peugeot's 1007 is on show here right now. We can see clearly its large single sliding door on each side (electrically powered), mini-MPV dimensions and large two-part glass sunroof. Based on the same platform as the Citroen C2, it will come with a similar range of engines and transmissions. If it's a bit too upright and unsporting for some Peugeot fans, then never fear: a more conventional hatchback is also on the way to replace the aged, but much-loved, 106. Peugeot is introducing the '00' badges to designate 'niche' models spun off each platform, and thus there will be a mainstream 107 as well. This will certainly be offered in hot GTi form.
