The Alfa GT (surely the shortest Alfa Romeo model name in history), is a proper four-seater and can even swallow five at a squeeze. It is also a hatchback with foldable rear seats, and that fact alone gives it an advantage over the BMW 3-Series Coupe that is its head-on rival.

| Framed or not? : The door windows are frameless, and drop fractionally to release themselves from the seal as you open the door just as in many coupes. But this isn't a pillar-less coupe like a CLK, because the rear side window glass covers a substantial centre pillar. A black masked edge hides the evidence, as it does in the rear window to disguise the tailgate frame. So the useful glass area is even smaller than it looks. |
