Healey 3000
The historic British brand name, sold by the Healey family recently, will reappear at the end of the year on a limited-edition high-performance sports coupe. Orders and deposits are already being taken, though production - of an initial run of 203 cars - may not start till next year. Convertible versions, plus a new-age Sprite, come later.

Honda Civic three-door and Type-R
The five-door Civic is already on sale and a three-door joins the range this summer. A production-ready Type-R - the car in Geneva was still a 'concept', though it was pretty close to the real deal - will be shown at the British Motor Show, but deliveries won't start till early 2007. A hybrid Civic follows later this year, too.

Honda CR-V
An all-new model on the latest Civic platform is due late in the year. The US-market Acura RD-X gives more than a few clues.

Honda Legend
The luxury Legend saloon is to be reintroduced to UK. The new one is light, has four-wheel drive, is technically complex and has a powerful 300bhp V6, plus kit including Night Vision system.

Hummer
Oversized, overpriced and over here - GM is officially marketing its Hummer brand in Europe; UK sales and right-hand drive versions come later this year. The range will include an all-new 'baby Hummer' H3, a Discovery-sized 4x4 based on the Chevrolet Colorado.

Hyundai 'FD'
An all-new C-sector car, a sister model to Kia's replacement for the Cerato (see below), the 'FD' has been specifically developed for Europe, to be built in Czech Republic. It will effectively replace both the Accent and Elantra. To be unveiled at the end of the year, although right-hand drive sales will not start till early 2008.

Hyundai Accent
Although the 'FD' will be Hyundai's main offering in the sector, the latest three-door Accent - which shares its underpinnings with the Kia Rio - will be offered to fill the gap in the Hyundai range until its launch. This will probably be positioned as a low-tech budget model to draw a distinction between the FD. Versions sold in the US have a 110bhp 1.6-litre petrol engine; a smaller unit, and a diesel, are likely for Europe.

Hyundai Accent and Kia Rio hybrids
Brought forward in response to growing US demand for such vehicles, these fuel-efficient petrol-electric compact models may not come to Europe, at least for a while longer. Hybrid versions of the Getz supermini are also already being tested in Korea.

Hyundai 'Matrix'
A new version of the compact MPV to be based on the latest Accent/Rio platform and will be more of a Meriva/Modus/Idea rival this time around. The HED-1 concept from Geneva 2005 could give some clues and it will be substantially smaller than the replacement for the Carens (on the 'FD' platform, due 2009).

Hyundai Coupe
An updated Coupe/Tiburon/Tuscani on a version of the current platform is expected at the end of the year. Expect a minor freshening-up inside and out, but it's just a few tweaks to keep up interest until the all-new model on the 'FD' platform arrives in 2008.

Hyundai Trajet (Entourage)
The new Trajet is a twin to the new-generation Kia Sedona (see below); a LWB version for the US will be called Entourage. A fairly no-nonsense, practical family-shifter, due late 2006.

Hyundai Grandeur
Aka Azera, it replaces Sonata in some markets but may not come to UK this time around. A next-generation model is said to be tipped for RHD. Larger than Sonata but not as big as earlier XG30, engines will include a 3.0 V6.

Hyundai Santa Fe
An all-new Mk2 Santa Fe goes on sale in April; diesels equipped with particulate filters come in September. Larger than current model, to differentiate it further from Tucson/Sportage, it will share its platform with next-gen Kia Sorento.
