Last week the San Francisco Chronicle revealed that engineers from the National Laboratory in California have developed a Toyota Prius hydrogen hybrid. The car, which has a 650-mile range, can run on liquid or compressed hydrogen and the only emissions are water vapour and minute amounts of nitrogen oxide.
