Most car drivers simply want a reliable, practical and reasonably cheap-to-run vehicle to serve their needs - not everyone's concerned about on-the-limit handling, acceleration times or drop-dead styling.

And looked at from that perspective, the Auris has to be one of the better choices.

If one of my friends or relatives said they were thinking of buying one, I'd tell them it was a good choice and sensible decision, and I'd be happy and confident to recommend it.
