Lambs are bleating, daffodils are blooming and birds are singing: with spring at last upon us, what better way to enjoy the sights and sounds of the British countryside than by taking a drive along a country road with the roof down.
Unfortunately, the good weather seems to be rationed to a couple of hours a day at the moment, so a car that can cope with the rain, wind, hail - and even snow - would be much appreciated. Step forward the Nissan Micra C+C.
The Micra C+C (that's coupe and cabriolet) is one of the growing ranks of compact metal-roofed drop-tops, willing to throw themselves open to the elements at the touch of a button, while still keeping a solid roof over itself at night.
But the Micra is different: not only can its roof retract in a little over 20 seconds, but the roof panels themselves are made from glass - allowing for loads of light whatever the weather.
