Used Car Buying Guide: Mini One, Cooper and Cooper S

The Mini is a 21st Century motoring phenomenon. Universally loved and adored by owners, onlookers and estate agents, no other modern car has such a beguiling mix of character and ability. And few other used cars hold their value so tenaciously or have been so sought after. The simple reason is that the Mini looks great and entertains the driver. Rear passengers won't love it so fiercely, but with the Mini you can forgive just about anything. The Cooper and in particular the Cooper S carried on from where the old ones left off by offering amazing handling and performance. However, five years after it launched, the great news is that values are softening as the Mini population begins to hit maximum density. You can't overlook that the new Mini has just become the old one, but the replacement looks so similar no one is going to think you stingy for choosing a used one. There are loads out there and picking the right spec is important. But even with the wrong colour or option pack you'd undoubtedly still love it. The Mini is that sort of used car.
