Mercedes has revealed full details of its new CL-Class luxury coupe in advance of it going on sale in the spring of 2007.
Based on S-Class underpinnings, the different versions of the new CL will take on the likes of the Bentley Continental GT, Aston Martin DB9, Maserati Coupe GT, Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Jaguar XK and, interestingly, Porsche's 911S.
Prices are yet to be confirmed, although they're likely to be around the £70,000 mark for the CL500 and £90,000-100,000 for the CL600.
In addition to these two versions, later on there will be two AMG models of the coupe, a CL63 AMG and CL65AMG, with the latter likely to set buyers back around £140,000.
