This was a 400-off limited-edition version of the 205 two-door, marketed as a small luxury town car. The Gentry came in just two colours: green or gold (the latter with matching gold wheels) with a body-coloured rear panel. Inside, it featured leather trim, electric windows, central locking, heated door mirrors and wood garnish. It had a four-speed automatic gearbox as standard, together with the 1.9 GTi engine detuned to 105bhp - so performance was brisk rather than neck-straining. A possible future collectors' item for the 205 connoisseur?
