The Grand Scenic has all the attributes of the now-immense Espace, but in a smaller, more manageable and more affordable package. The Grand Scenic is the long-wheelbase version of the popular compact Scenic and comes either as a super-roomy five-seater or a seven-seater with fully flat-folding, removable rear seats.
Renault Grand Scenic
As with most modern Renaults, the Grand Scenic comes with high equipment levels, with many versions having auto wipers, auto headlamps, keyless entry, parking sensors, sat nav and all the goodies: unfortunately it also comes with the fiddly, awkward and easily-mislaid Renault Card for ignition instead of a good ol' key.
As ever, the economical diesels are the models of choice, but the petrols (Nissan-built engines) are lively enough.
