A new updated version of the Lamborghini Gallardo will be called LP560-4 - indicating its power output and its four-wheel-drive powertrain.
The LP560-4 has a new version of the Audi direct-injection V10, enlarged to 5.2-litres and 552bhp/390lb ft - 32bhp and 15lb ft up on the current 5.0 V10.
Both the manual and e-gear sequential-shift gearboxes have been modified and the four-wheel-drive system is lighter, more fuel-efficient and able to handle more power and torque. The chassis has been stiffened and the brakes upgraded.
Styling is ever more aggressive, with a full-on body kit, larger front lip spoiler and made-over tail end, although the cabin remains little changed.
