Swedish carmaker Koenigsegg is showing its ultra-exclusive Edition models.
The CCX Edition has its supercharged 4.8 V8 boosted by nearly 80bhp to a frightening 888bhp, giving over 240mph and 0-60mph in (take a deep breath) 2.9 seconds. The ethanol-compatible CCXR Edition has its output unchanged - it already offers nearly 1,020bhp - and delivers similar performance.
The Edition models have track-specification stiffened, lower-riding suspension, extra aerodynamic enhancements including a larger front splitter and adjustable rear wing, and unpainted carbon-fibre body panels. They get a unique leather-trimmed interior with special instruments, a rear-view camera and telecommnications kit.
Just 14 examples of the CCX Edition will be made (from ¬1,330,000) and six of the CCXR (from €1,500,000).
