A showcase for Pininfarina's new technology, the design of the Sintesi incorporates elements of the design of the Maserati Birdcage 75th and Nido concept cars.
The Sintesi has a fuel cell hydrogen-electric powertrain said to deliver up to 700bhp, with its batteries distributed around its structure for optimum weight balance and interior space.
It also includes a car-to-car communication system called Clancast, which could potentially do away with the need for traffic lights, stop signs and other road signs if all cars featured such technology.
Its name, by the way, is the Italian word for 'summary'.
