Kia's Borrego is a large old-school SUV - bigger than the current Sorento - with a body-on-frame chassis and 4.6-litre V8 petrol engine, as in the Hyundai Genesis. A 3.8-litre V6 will also be offered. It has three rows of seats and will come in both rear-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive formats.
The Borrego has been developed to rival models such as the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Ford Explorer, and it is unlikely to come to the UK; it is sold in Korea as the Mohave. A pick-up truck version is expected to follow.
