Remember the LF-A coupe? First seen at the 2005 Detroit Show, it returned in 2007 along with the news that Lexus was "almost certain" to put it into production". And now it's back - minus its roof.
The LF-A Roadster has the same high-revving 500bhp V10 promising 200mph-plus, along with an adaptive rear wing and carbonfibre/aluminium body panels. Its engine is mounted in front of the driver but behind the front axle, with radiators and transmission to the rear, giving an excellent front-rear weight distribution.
The coupe is now thought to be very close to production, and we've seen spy shots of this roadster out testing - it's at an advanced stage of development, and we await final confirmation of its on-sale date.
