Nissan Skyline coupe, Tokyo 2005
The Skyline used to be the model range that was topped by the high-performance, high-tech GT-R, but this time around the GT-R is a separate model, while the new Skyline is a 2+2 coupe that's the less glamorous sister of the Infiniti G37 that will be coming to Europe in 2008.
The Nissan version has a 333bhp 3.7 V6 and close-ratio six-speed manual or five-speed automatic gearbox with paddleshifts. Vehicle Dynamic Control and four-wheel active steering feature on the higher-end versions.
A comfortable GT rather than a full-on sports car, it's kitted out with a choice of aluminium or leather and wood trim, with an optional sporty bodykit.
