6. BMW X6
I have a soft spot for crossovers that combine SUVs with coupes, so the latest design from Chris Bangle's Bavarian studio is right up my strasse. Sleek, sporty - and it'll be the first BMW powered by a hybrid. I'll have one.
7. Aston Martin DBS
OK, so we've seen James Bond crashing one of these already, but this is the first time we've had a proper look at the £160K V12-powered Vanquish replacement. It might be a slightly improved DB9, but those improvements are certainly enough it make it even more of an object of desire than Vesper Lynd.
8. Renault Laguna Coupe
The new Laguna is a much improved car in all but looks. This Coupe concept, however, redresses the balance, giving Renault's design department at least something to brag about.
9. Ford Verve
Ford has got its styling mojo back in a big way. Following on from the S-Max and new Mondeo, this Fiesta replacement takes the kinetic design philosophy to the small car sector very successfully and builds huge expectation for the production version.
10. Mazda 6
Yes, a Japanese family saloon makes my top 10, on the basis that it should give its Mondeo cousin - with which it shares its underpinnings - a real run for its money when it hits the market next year.
