Joining the i-Blue eco car and the i30 estate, here's the third Hyundai revealed in Frankfurt. It's a 2+2 coupe intended to be simple, robust and good value, with youthful buyers in mind.
Created at Hyundai's Design and Technical Centre in Korea, this concept is called Veloster, a name intended to evoke 'velocity' and 'roadster'. Although the car is not a roadster, its full-length glass roof should make it feel less enclosed than other coupes.
'With Veloster, we wanted to try something really different. We're keenly aware that we need radically new products for the Y-generation, the first-time buyer in their twenties,' said Oh Suk-Geun, Hyundai's vice president of design. 'This is really a bold new direction.'
