3D gadget-deployer. "One of the best driving games in the history of the universe", according to den92, and - as it happens - another TV tie-in from the company that gave the world The Daily Show News Hunter 2.
Speed Racer, as far as we can make out, is a Japanese-style American cartoon about a car packed with Spy Hunter-esque devices for cheating in races like this one. There's only one course, and you only get one life, but it takes so long to load you may as well try and get to the finishing line while you're there.
Controls: Arrow keys for left, right, forward and reverse; 1, A or Space for autojacks (jump), B or 2 for grip tyres, C or 3 cutter blades, D or 4 deflector screen, E or 5 headlights, F or 6 "Frogger mode", G or 7 to deploy homing robot.
Tips: Perhaps it's just us, but the most useful gadgets seem to be the grip tyres, homing robot (to distract other drivers), autojacks (to jump the gaps in the mountainous shortcuts), and finally "Frogger mode" - to try and find your way out of the lake after missing those jumps mentioned previously.
