Maglite
Everyone needs a couple of Maglites in their lives.
The rugged, reliable anodised aluminium torches have transcended their function to become iconic products, without losing any of their practicality. They're ideal for everything from looking for that dropped Malteser in the passenger footwell to navigating a country lane on foot after you've run out of fuel.
The range starts with the Maglite Solitaire (£10), a three-inch torch that takes a single-cell AAA battery; then comes the Mini Maglite (£15), using two AAA or AA batteries; before culminating in the Maglite 5 D-Cell (£34), which is a whopper, and a new range featuring brighter LEDs (£40-£60).
