Feature: Slowest cars money can buy

Citroen Berlingo Multispace 1.6 HDi 75

Price: £11,895-£12,365; 0-62mph: 17.1s; Top speed: 94mph; Engine capacity: 1,560cc; Power: 75bhp at 4,000rpm; Emissions: 150g/km; Average fuel consumption: 49.6mpg; Boot capacity (min/max): 675/3,000 litres

The name 'Multispace' gives the game away. This is the most spacious in this selection - if you need lots of room but not much poke then you won't go far wrong with the Berlingo Multispace.

Emissions are still a bit high for our liking and it's pricey too, but then again the near-50mpg fuel consumption makes this reasonably cheap to run.

Citroen Nemo Multispace 1.4 HDi

Price: £10,995; 0-62mph: 18.2s; Top speed: 94mph; Engine capacity: 1,399cc; Power: 70bhp at 4,000rpm; Emissions: 119g/km; Average fuel consumption: 62.8mpg; Boot capacity (min/max): 360/2,500 litres

The cutely-named Nemo really does the job on so many levels. Its 18.2s 0-60mph acceleration time isn't dreadful when compared with others in this feature but it'll still trundle up to a 94mph top speed, which isn't bad at all.

It's spacious, low on emissions, economical and it's only real drawback is that you might consider £11k just a tad expensive.

We think the Nemo is the second-best in this bunch, just pipped by VW's value-for-money Fox.
