Price: about £35
The Need for Speed games have been around longer than you've been alive. That is, providing you're less than 12 years old. The series has been stuck on a street-racing theme ever since NFS: Underground, but Undercover stirs things up by casting the player as an undercover policeman, sent to break a car-smuggling ring.
But it's mostly business as usual. There seem to be more cops than in previous games and it can get tedious when you manage to shake one off, only to run straight into several more. And the catch-up feature, designed to make the races closer, is more annoying than exciting.
